
Oral surgery is the branch of dentistry dedicated to the diagnosis and surgical treatment of diseases, injuries, and abnormalities affecting the teeth, mouth, jaws, and surrounding structures.
The scope of oral surgery is extensive and includes, among others, the following procedures:
Extractions (removal of impacted teeth or teeth present in the arch),
Endodontic surgery (performed when conventional root canal treatment is unsuccessful),
Surgical treatment of cystic or tumoral pathologies,
Periodontal surgery,
